Hi! I'm Trish, and I'd like to show you that dancing to your own drum beat is the best way to live. I'll be sharing all the tools and inspiration you need to craft your own extraordinary life.

Everyone knows the importance of setting goals, but how many of us end up writing down the same goals, year after year, without taking a single step towards achieving them? Too many, I say! I created The Ultimate Goalsetting Worksheet to help you identify the exact, day to day steps needed to reach your most important goal within 12 months or less. It’s an Excel workbook that’s set up to work on auto-pilot…you focus on the tasks in front of you, and the long-term goals take care of themselves. Download your copy now for free.

For Starting a Blog or Online Business

Worried about the privacy of your information on the internet? No? Well, you probably should be. I don’t really know how the internet works, but I do know how important it is to use a VPN (Virtual Private Network). When I was researching VPNs, Tunnelbear stood out because of its easy-to-understand  language and just as importantly – its cute bear logo (hey, just being honest!). I’ve been using Tunnelbear for two years now, and I properly love it. Come for the ability to mask your IP address, stay for the bear puns. Sign up with my affiliate link to get a 7-day free trial.

Namecheap.com

Namecheap is quite simply the best place to buy your domain names/URLs. I used to comparison-shop every time I bought a URL, but Namecheap always came out with the best price. The interface is really clean and simple, it’s easy to track your domain names and the dates they expire, and did I mention that it’s always cheaper than the competitors? Visit Namecheap if you’re looking for a domain name.

GetResponse helps you manage email lists, send group and automated messages, easily design opt-in forms and landing pages, and apparently a stack of other fancy things that I haven’t worked out how to use yet. It’s not free (costs start at about $15/month) so if you’re new to email marketing and don’t have the funds to invest yet, then you might be better off starting out with Mailchimp. Once you’re ready to put some money into growing your list, though, GetResponse has all the functionality you need and (most importantly for normal humans) incredibly helpful support staff. Click here to check out GetResponse’s features.

Dropbox lets you save your documents in “the cloud,” freeing up space on your computer and/or providing an extra backup. You can also use it to share documents with other people (without giving them access to your private documents). I personally prefer it to Google Drive, because you can still access and update your documents even when you’re not online. (Very useful when travelling in remote countries with crummy wifi). Dropbox is easy to use and did I mention? It’s totally free!

MOO

I didn’t think it was possible to love a printing company. But I do. I do love MOO. Design your own business cards really easily and simply. They have fantastic customer service, and (at the risk of revealing my inner nerd) their packaging is so amazing that opening a delivery from them feels a bit like Christmas. I’ve received deliveries from both the UK and US branches, and I would never use another printer. So much love. Check the MOO site for regular sales and discounts.

This 6-week Money Mindset course by Denise Duffield-Thomas helps you uncover money blocks and transform your money story. The online reviews for this course are amazing, and for good reason. The benefits for me have extended well beyond income blocks – Denise and the Lucky B community have given me tools to address mindset blocks in areas of my personal as well as professional life.  If you know that your income isn’t matching up to your potential, you should check out the Lucky Bitch Money Bootcamp and decide if it’s right for you.

For Long-Term Travel

Lonely Planet is like the cliched bearded traveller who’s always sitting in the same spot in the corner of a dimly lit bar. You may think he’s a know-it-all and your trip will be just as awesome if you avoid him, but you’d be wrong. The less snobby travellers who engage him in conversation are rewarded with insider tips, short cuts and travel stories that make their trip a squillion times more meaningful. If you’re heading out into the big, wide world – there’s no better travel companion than a Lonely Planet.

World Nomads Logo

In my former life, I used to work on government travel advisories (and had to help travellers who were hurt or caught up in trouble overseas). Ever since then I’ve internalised our key message as gospel: If you can’t afford travel insurance, you can’t afford to travel. This is something that you absolutely cannot compromise on! I like World Nomads, and not just because they have a cool name (though, to be fair, that does play a bigger part than it probably should). If you happened to take leave of your senses and already left your home country without buying travel insurance, World Nomads is one of just a few insurers that lets you buy a policy once you’re on the road. Visit World Nomads to see if their policies are right for you.

For saving the world

[UK-only] I love books! I’m sadly restricted to eBooks now that I’m living out of a suitcase, but Oxfam is my go-to for quality second hand books whenever I’m back in London. Surprisingly (to me) they also have a great website that offers clothing, vintage goodies, and entertainment products as well as books. Plus, of course, it’s all for a good cause. I highly recommend my British readers visit the Oxfam website and get those ££ doing something useful.

For daily motivation

Don’t you just love inspirational quotes? You can pin, download, share, or print these motivational quotes completely free.
